Our mission is to ensure equitable access to medicines and health products for all individuals
in need. We firmly believe that no one should be deprived of essential healthcare due to financial
constraints.

To achieve this, our primary focus is on redistributing and donating medicine, while also
reducing the environmental burden associated with medication waste.

To establish a donation system model supported by technology. Demonstration of stewardship in the collection, inspection, distribution of donated medicines and health products, devices.

To collaborate with industry leaders, academia and regulatory stakeholders to create standards for donated medicines. Support of donators and other health care stakeholders in the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective services for underserved populations.

Our Story

Redistributing medicine for those in need

A close friend of one of the co-founders, living abroad, faced a severe chronic condition that could only be treated with an imported medicine. The lengthy approval process from social security and reimbursement authorities made it impossible to start treatment on time.

Determined to act, the family sourced unused doses of the same medicine within the country, successfully gathering enough to begin treatment.

This challenge inspired the co-founders to launch ShareMed Swiss – a mission to repurpose unused medications and provide life-saving treatments to those in urgent need.
